Soul
Soul is an interactive installation that
can change the angle of its extending,
brightness and color of the light. It is
placed in a dark space with a projection
animation. It takes advantage of the
phototaxis of humans in the dark,
and as the viewer slowly approaches,
it reacts by changing its own form.
Through the projection animation to
reproduce the jellyfish's transparent,
sensitive and fragile perception, it
contrasts with the mechanical jellyfish
to trigger the viewer's thinking about
“existence”.
「soul」是一個可以改變自身開合幅度，燈光亮度及顏色的互動裝置， 置於全暗的空間中搭配投影動畫呈現。它利用人在黑暗中的趨光性， 在觀者慢慢靠近的過程中，它會通過改變自身的型態做出反應。透過投影動畫再現水母通透，虛無飄渺和敏感脆弱的觀感，與機械水母產生對比，以引發觀者對於「存在」的思考。
